Beth Israel Congregation Women's League

The Mission of the Beth Israel Women's League is to support and represent the Congregation and community through innovative and fun opportunities that support Jewish identity and values to include and inspire women of all ages by promoting friendships, personal growth and well-being.

Gift Shop

Visit our Beth Israel Women's League Gift Shop, featuring:
  • Fine Judaica for every day and every occasion
  • The opportunity to accompany every gift/purchase with a matched Torah Fund Card contribution to the Conservative movement and its Jewish Theological Seminary
Hours:
  • Sundays 9:30 a.m. - noon, during the school year when the Beth Israel Religious School is in session.

Mission

 As part of our Mission:
  • We are committed to Jewish education at home, in the synagogue and the community
  • We promote programming to enhance the Jewish cultural experience of individuals and families
  • We honor each Bar/Bat Mitzvah with an enduring gift of fine Judaica
  • We support our broader community as a member of the Women's League for Conservative Judaism and its network of 700+ Conservative Women's Leagues,  its status as a United Nations Non-Governmental Observer, and its membership in these key Jewish bodies:
    • Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations
    • Jewish Council for Public Affairs
    • NCSJ: Advocates on behalf of Jews in Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic States and Eurasia
    • World Jewish Congress
    • Mercaz USA
    • Masorti Foundation for Conservative Judaism in Israel
