Sixty (60) billboard size banners by artists from across the globe (including Washtenaw County artists) are on display at Gallup Park through September 30, 2022. The banners reflect the artist’s interpretation of the theme “enriching our lives through diversity.” Embracing Our Differences uses the transformative  power of art and words to spark thinking and discussion on our differences in race, sex, LGBTQ, as well as mental and physical differences.

DETAILS

• Our docent will be Evie Lichter, Beth Israel member and Social Action Committee Member of EOD.

• Rain date will be Sunday July 24, 2022. Same time. Same location.

• Parking is available at the Gallup Park boat launch off Geddes Rd near the southeast corner of Geddes and Huron Parkway.

• Please plan to arrive at 9:50 am for the 10:00 am tour.

• Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for being in the park. 

• This is an outdoor tour that requires walking. There is limited accessibility for folks with mobility issues, so please consider this before registering. 

RESERVATIONS

• Please register on our website by July 15 to reserve your spot. Reservations are limited to 20 people.

• If registration is full, please email Meg Bernstein. A second tour at a later date may be considered if interest far exceeds reservation spots.
