Jewish Holidays
Jewish Holidays
Beth Israel joins together to honor and celebrate the Jewish holidays throughout the year.
While every holiday at Beth Israel is unique and special, the following celebrations are a few examples of the ways we observe. Please join us.
- Sukkot lunches and Pizza in the Hut dinners are enjoyed in the congregational Sukkah.
- The only thing more exciting than our International Shul of Pancakes brunch, is the joy and excitement around the Torah processionals on Simchat Torah.
- A children’s Hanukkah Party highlights the Hanukkah season.
- Purim is an especially fun time when adults and children dress in costumes to listen to the Megilla reading. Purim at Beth Israel is filled with special surprises, including guest appearance by the Muppets, The Bagels, and Vulcans.
- We spend a meaningful evening of Jewish study culminating in a midnight snack that caps the first evening of Shavuot.
