We are reaching out to ask for your support as the calendar year 2022 comes to a close. Over the last months, we have been able to return to more onsite and in-person activities and observances, and improve the quality of our virtual offerings. We have welcomed a new executive director, hired a new bookkeeper, and are actively searching for a new director of engagement and programs. All of this will significantly strengthen our capacity and reduce the strain and overload on our amazing staff. Our school is growing and thriving and we are carrying out the first year steps of our strategic plan.  

To support our community, we are reaching out to ask you to consider an end-of-year gift to Beth Israel. In 2021, our end-of-year appeal exceeded our goal by over 40%, which was very exciting, and we were deeply grateful for your generosity.

This is an important moment of opportunity for Beth Israel as we recover and seek not just to return to “normal” but to reach for the possibilities and promise of our collective future. Each of us is needed to make this possible.

This year we have an ambitious goal of $75,000. Your generous gift will support several key priorities: the maintenance of our aging building and repairs that it needs; sponsorship of some special programs; professional development for our teachers and materials for our growing religious school; and copies of our new prayer book, Lev Shalem.  

As we launch the 2022 appeal, we are thrilled that we are already more than one third of the way toward that goal, thanks to gifts we have already received––thank you!
