Beth Israel Religious School Teachers

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic teachers for Beth Israel Religious School. Our classes meet Sunday mornings 10am-12pm, and Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-6. We are currently seeking teachers for Sunday mornings for our 2nd/3rd grade class. Knowledge of Judaism and Hebrew language required. Teaching experience preferred, but not required. Director of Engagement and Programming

General Overview
Beth Israel Congregation seeks a charismatic, creative, and dedicated person to design and implement programming that connects current and potential members to Beth Israel, to the community, and to one another. We seek an individual who loves working with people of all ages, from all demographics, and from all walks of life. This person will get to know our members through participation in services and community events, and via small group and one-on-one meetings. In collaboration with the rabbi, staff, and lay leadership, the director of engagement and programming will develop programs and activities that offer opportunities to learn, to play, and to interact, and will actively work to create a culture of inclusivity in the congregation. This part-time position works as a proactive, participatory member of the office staff team and works cooperatively with all other staff members. The staff person represents the congregation in all contact with members, prospects, and the general community.

Functions Responsibilities include all payables, payroll, and financial reports, and working with the executive director on budget development and monitoring, fund transfers, and account balancing. Click here for more details.
