Beth Israel Congregation 2023 End of Year Appeal

We are reaching out to ask for your support as the calendar year 2023 comes to a close. Over the last months, we have fully resumed in-person Shabbat and holiday services, revitalized our religious school, and broadened our programming for congregants. We have welcomed a new director of engagement and programs, Barb McAnelly, and a new religious school director, Lynne Caine.

This past summer, we initiated a new dues structure that is both more transparent and fairer than the previous one. But dues comprise only two thirds (2/3) of our operating budget. We depend on other sources of revenue to pay our bills. Therefore, we are reaching out to ask you to consider an end-of-year gift to Beth Israel.

As in 2022, we have an ambitious goal of $75,000 for this year-end campaign. Your generous gift will support several key priorities: sponsorship of some special programs; the maintenance of our aging building and repairs that it needs; professional development for our teachers and materials for our growing religious school.

Please watch this short video (click here) to learn more about our ask this year.

In a time of stress and uncertainty for the Jewish people, a vibrant Beth Israel Congregation helps provide structure and meaning for a wide range of people. This end-of-year appeal is to help us continue to thrive across the coming months, as well as to continue planning for our future. We ask for your generous support. Thank you again!
