The class meets on zoom on Monday afternoons from 4-5:15. We read the text in Hebrew or Aramaic with an accompanying English translation and all discussions will be in English so no familiarity with Hebrew is required. This winter we will be studying from the 2nd chapter of the tractate Berachot which deals with the laws and traditions relating to the saying of the Shema.
